Stallion Listing Every effort has been made to assure the correctness of the stallion listing. Neither the stallion owner, donor, nor the Texas Arabian Breeders Association is responsible for errors in the listing. It is recommended you explore all related links provided for any listing and utilize other resources including the AHA Arabian Datasource, race reports from Arabian Jockey Club, Equibase, Daily Racing Form, Arabian Finish Line Magazine, etc. If the farm or stallion have a private website, be sure to visit their website and don't hesitate to contact the stallion owner directly for more information.
Bidding Minimum bid will be fifty percent (50%) of the listed or recommended breeding fee unless otherwise specified. Bidders are welcomed to bid on multiple stallions.
Breeding Certificates The service certificate portion of registration applications for resulting foals from these breedings will not be signed by the owner of the stallion at the time of service until a letter from TABA certifies that payment has been made.
Breeding Terms and Conditions Purchaser of a breeding shall abide by all conditions and terms outlined in the standard breeding contract of the stallion owner by whom the breeding is donated. All breedings are subject to a fee if transported semen is used. Contact the stallion owner or manager for the specific amount. All payments for board, veterinary services, farrier, and any other expenses (including booking, handling fees and semen transport) shall be paid by the successful bidder directly to the stallion owner. In the case of syndicated stallions, fees listed are recommended only. Breeding purchases must be used in 2010.
Assignment Resale of breeding purchases by winning bidders is not permitted. TABA may relist unsold breedings for auction, or take any breeding donated and sell it at private treaty.
Death of a Stallion In case of the death of the stallion for which a breeding had been purchased, the stallion owner has the option of offering a stallion of equal quality. If the stallion offered is not acceptable to the purchaser, TABA has the opportunity to take the breeding offered and sell it at private treaty. TABA will return any money paid by the purchaser, if the alternate stallion is not acceptable.
